Freelance (New York, NY) Athletics, a Brooklyn-based design collective, is seeking a smart, self-motivated freelance designer with both design chops and strong communication skills. This person will be working with our team to execute a wide variety of projects.
This is an on-site position. No offers of remote work will be considered, no relocation assistance will be offered.
Requirements:
- Solid proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- An understanding of standards-based HTML & CSS
- Strong writing skills
- Good understanding of typography
- A passion for design and the web
Would be a plus:
- Strong illustration skills in either Illustrator or PS
- Web development skills - html/css, php, wordpress, jquery, etc.
- Experience with Final Cut and/or AfterEffects
- Experience with Flash
- Experience with Basecamp
- An active interest in web publishing (blogging, twitter, etc.)
